About

I have extensive experience working with clients to manage stress, improve relationships, and reduce worry and concern. I am also specialized in the treatment of anxiety disorders and issues of body image and low self worth.

I believe in the power of education to help people understand their own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Therefore, I draw on aspects of neurology and physiology to inform a better understanding of how the brain and body work and why we make the choices we do.

Mission

I believe therapy is a process of elevating oneself to the fullest potential. Yet, it is an endeavor that takes immense courage as we often engage with difficult or painful emotions along the way.

My hope is to provide you with support and guidance in this process as you seek to better understand and manage the challenges you face. It is also my mission to help you achieve your therapuetic goals by providing you with specific tools and resources throughout this process.

Clinical Background

I have worked as a mental health psychotherapist in a variety of settings including within university counseling, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient programs.

More recently, I provide individual therapy to a range of clients in the outpatient setting. I practice with a variety of modalities and clinical lenses including Mindfulness,  Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma sensitive care, and  Postpartum support
